Plan the meal around the boat

Yacht Rental with a Kitchen in Dubai

A yacht with a kitchen can support very different meals: a prepared lunch served on deck, food finished on board or a chef cooking during the trip. Start with the meal you want, then check the galley, service and access arrangements that make it possible.

A galley is a working space

A yacht’s kitchen is usually called the galley. Each boat has its own layout and equipment, and crew or catering staff may be using it during the trip. Check guest access before planning to cook there yourself.

If preparing your own food is important, ask about it before selecting a yacht. Explain what you want to bring and do. The answer needs to cover access, equipment, storage and the operator’s arrangements for that particular boat.

Three ways to arrange food

These are requests to discuss, not automatic inclusions. A chef, catering order and kitchen access are separate decisions.

Give us the details of your meal

  1. Choose the food style

A light lunch, buffet and plated dinner each use the boat differently. Tell us what you imagine before deciding how it should be prepared.

  2. Give an accurate count

Include adults and children and specify how many people will eat. Share allergies or dietary needs early so the proposed provider can respond to them.

  3. Check serving and storage

Ask about refrigeration, keeping prepared food in suitable conditions, tableware and the space used for service. Do not assume those details from a photograph of the galley.

  4. Fit the meal into the trip

Agree when food will be served and where guests will sit. A route with several activities may need a simpler meal or more charter time.

Look beyond the cooking equipment

The best galley arrangement will not solve a shortage of dining space. If everyone wants to sit together, request the seating plan as well as the food proposal. A sheltered aft table, indoor dining area and informal buffet create different experiences.

Some guests may prefer to stay away from food preparation while others are interested in a chef-led meal. Describe that preference, but leave access and service arrangements to be agreed for the selected boat. A private charter does not automatically make every working area available to guests.

Compare complete proposals. One may include food and service while another covers only the boat. Check ingredients, chef or catering staff, tableware, drinks and clearing away so the total reflects the same meal.

Useful details for your kitchen enquiry

  • The meal

Menu style, number of people eating and whether you want food prepared aboard or delivered ready to serve.

  • The essentials

Allergies, dietary requirements, refrigeration needs and any equipment or serving items you would like supplied.

  • Your own items

Food, drinks or cooking equipment you hope to bring. Ask what is permitted and practical before making purchases.

  • The charter

Date, hours, guest count and preferred meal time. Mention whether dinner, sightseeing or another activity has first priority.

Your date. Your guests. Your plans.

Ask for a proposal that fits.

Send the date, guest count and what matters most on board. We will check the yacht and arrangements, then send the details and full price.
