Before you choose a yacht

Plan the day around your people.

A good charter starts with a clear idea of what you want to do on board. The right yacht gives that plan enough space and time.

Choose the experience before the boat

Start with the moment you want to remember. A couple watching the skyline needs a different setting from a family taking turns in the water or a birthday group gathering around a table. Choose one main activity, then decide what else belongs around it. Trying to combine a long sightseeing route, swimming, lunch and a celebration in a short outing usually means cutting time from the part you care about most.

You can hire a yacht privately for your group and ask for a trip built around that plan. If you are comparing a private charter with a shared yacht tour, check what the ticket covers: the use of the boat, the route and whether other guests will be aboard are different questions from the price per person.

Look at how the space will be used

Length is a useful starting point, but it does not tell you whether everyone can eat together or sit in the shade. Look through the deck and interior photographs as well as the exterior view. A sheltered dining area may matter more than a larger sunpad. Separate seating areas can work well for a mixed group, while a smaller boat may keep a quiet gathering together.

Our yacht cards bring the available photographs and published specifications into one place. Compare the cruising guest limit with your complete headcount, including children. If you want to sleep aboard, use cabin arrangements and overnight capacity as a separate part of the shortlist.

Match the route to your time on board

Dubai Marina, Bluewaters, Palm Jumeirah and the Burj Al Arab are familiar names when planning a coastal trip. They are not interchangeable boarding points, and a wish list of landmarks is not yet a timed itinerary. Start with the actual yacht berth, name the view you most want and decide how much of the outing you want to spend cruising.

A boat that is moving between landmarks and a boat stopped for a meal offer very different experiences. Leave room for both only when the proposed duration supports them. The route pages help you prepare your preferences before the departure point and practical itinerary are settled.

Compare the complete charter cost

Ask for the total for your date and group, with the charter period and requested services shown together. Catering, decorations, water activities and transfers should be identifiable in the offer if you have asked for them. A low headline figure is difficult to compare with an inclusive proposal unless both describe the same outing.

If you have a firm budget, tell us which part matters most. You might prefer more time on a smaller yacht, a larger entertaining area for a shorter cruise, or a simple route with a meal on board. That gives the enquiry a direction without pretending that one package will suit every group.

A useful enquiry can be short

Send the date or date range, the total guest count and your preferred time aboard. Add the occasion and any detail that would change the choice of boat: a seated meal, a guest with limited mobility, children in the group or a need for separate sleeping spaces. If a particular yacht caught your eye, select it before opening the request form.

You can also save several yachts and send the shortlist. Availability is checked for the requested period, and an enquiry does not reserve the boat. The next useful step is a proposal that you can assess against the day you actually want.

Before you step aboard

Your questions,
answered.

How much does yacht rental in Dubai cost?

The yacht, duration, date and services determine the quote. Ask for the full cost, including any fuel, catering, delivery or other extras. We confirm the price and terms for your chosen trip.

Can we charter a yacht for a few hours?

Yes, you can request a short private charter. The minimum duration and possible route depend on the yacht and departure point. Tell us which sights you would like to include.

How many guests can come aboard?

Each yacht has its own guest limit. Share the total number of adults and children so we can match your group to the right boat. Overnight guest limits are separate from cruising capacity.

Where do we board the yacht?

The departure point depends on the individual yacht. Your booking information gives you the marina, meeting point and arrival instructions. Sightseeing stops are not necessarily boarding locations.
