An upper deck for your group

Flybridge Yacht Rental in Dubai

A flybridge gives a yacht another level for spending time outside. Choose it for the upper-deck views and the way your group can gather there, then look closely at seats, stairs and shade. The right layout should make the extra space useful throughout your outing.

Look beyond the upper-deck photograph

A flybridge usually combines an upper helm with guest seating or lounging space. The balance varies: one yacht may have a compact social corner while another has room for a larger gathering. Sunpads, a dining table and loose chairs each change how people use the deck.

Start with your main moment. If everyone will gather for a toast, establish where they can sit or stand comfortably without obstructing the helm or stairs. For lunch, look at actual table places. The yacht's overall guest capacity should not be read as the number who can dine together upstairs.

Walk through the day on the layout

A simple sequence helps reveal whether an upper deck suits your plans.

  1. Arrive and settle

Decide where bags go and where the group first gathers. Guests do not need to carry everything upstairs as soon as they board.

  2. Move between the decks

Examine the stairs and handrails, especially for children or anyone who prefers to remain on one level. Ask the crew how guests should move while underway.

  3. Serve and regroup

Choose how drinks or food reach the upper deck. A cake, photographer and drinks tray need a clear place at the moment everyone comes together.

Different layouts to compare

These yacht profiles give you starting points for a layout conversation; availability and use remain specific to your charter.

  • Riva 82

The profile combines flybridge views with separate dining settings and forward lounging. Compare where the group would eat and where it would relax afterwards.

  • Zirve 72

Its profile highlights a larger social flybridge and sheltered outdoor lounge. Consider how you would divide a gathering between those areas.

  • Azimut 88 and Liberty 62

Azimut's social flybridge and Liberty's more compact upper space offer different starting points. Look at photographs alongside your seating needs rather than ranking the boats only by length.

Check which seats have shelter

Some flybridges have a hardtop, others a fabric bimini or a more open arrangement. Ask which seats receive shelter at your planned time of day. A roof over the helm does not tell you whether the whole guest area is shaded.

For your enquiry, give the full guest count and say what you want to do upstairs. Mention a seated meal, a celebration, anyone avoiding stairs and a preference for sheltered seating. We can then compare the flybridge with the saloon and aft deck as parts of one usable yacht layout.
